Happy Easter and 65th Birthday to Grandpa Heidemann

This year, we spent Easter in the Lou with the Heidemann family. As always, it was just so nice to see the whole family again. Jack just had a blast with his cousins and his grandparents!! He was Emily's shadow the entire weekend....and told me over and over again on the way home that he wanted to play with her! All of the kids were really darling together.

On Holy Thursday evening which was Grandpa's actual birthday, we made him a special birthday dinner and gave him his special birthday presents. We sure do love Crappa!! We made him our favorite dinner.....bracioles, crab imperial, and potato medley.......yummy, yummy!!! We were so happy that we could celebrate his special day with him!!

I know I have uploaded some of these photos before.....but I love them so much that I converted the them to a simple black and white and am currently trying to find a place to frame them in our house. I love them 1) because they are taken of just the cutest little man ever to have been born!, 2) they capture some of JB's hilarious, most adorable facial expressions, and 3) they capture Jack just being Jack.....playful, curious, fun-loving, precious, and just Mommy's perfect little boy in every way possible!!

Pure Sweetness....

It is nothing but pure sweetness between my two little love bugs! I am sure I will not always be able to say this, but for now, I am just going to relish in the moment! I love nothing more than to watch these two interact with each other. There are tons and tons of smiles throughout our days and nights, but not all of the time. Even during sad moments, these two words always prevail......pure sweetness!

My Boys

It is not very often that I get a photo of all 3 of my boys together:( I am on a constant mission for the "perfect" photo....and even when I get one, I am not sure that journey will ever end! Although this is not the most "perfect" photo, it certainly contains the 3 most important people in my life....and a night with the 3 of them (with the whole family in our pajamas by 6:00PM) is just about as perfect as it gets!!!

Best Buds

Although they are still so young, it gives me the utmost pleasure knowing that my 2 little guys are just the best of buds!!! It simply makes my heart melt watching them interact with each other these days. Jack ADORES "baby brother." If someone so much as looks at Mikey the wrong way, big brother Jack quickly steps in and says, "No no, don't touch my brother!"

From the second Mikey was born, I was beyond thrilled that Jack had a little brother. And now, I grow even happier by the day knowing that not only are these 2 cuties brothers, but they are also best friends! I am one happy Momma!

4 Months Old Today!!!!

Today, my Littlest Man is 4 months old already!!!! I cannot believe it!!! He is getting TOO BIG TOO QUICKLY!!! We are enjoying every moment with our sweet and adorable little bundle!
