Oak Lawn Baseball Season Kickoff Parade

I am really not sure who is the most excited for Jack's teeball season to start!!!!  I have been attending his practices for the past 2 months and if the games are HALF as darling and comical as the practices, then it is sure to be a great time to be had by all!!!

Today was just the official start of the season.  His league started off the festivities with a parade throughout our neighborhood.  The rain held out and the Brewers made their first official appearance all decked out in their uniforms.  They could NOT be any cuter!!!  And Jack was tickled pink about throwing all of the candy out to the numerous bystanders.  He thought he was SO cool....and quite frankly, he is!!  HA!!

The BEST CAKE Everyone Has EVER Made for me!!!!!

Today, I celebrated my birthday with all of my boys. And I'll tell you, it could not have been any better. It was super duper low key and we pretty much did nothing. To me, this was the best kind of day because I had a moment to actually sit back and realize that I am certainly one blessed momma. I didn't even need to make a wish as Jack and I blew out the candles...because everything I can think of that I would ever want, I already have. As I said, I am blessed.

 I did, however, receive one present that I will never forget....and that was THE BEST cake ever. It was simply THE BEST because my boys made it just for me. Jack knows that my favorite colors are brown, red, and black.....and that is what kind of cake he decided I needed to have. I mean, how sweet is my guy?!!?!? I will never forget his thoughtfulness, especially at only 3 years of age.

Sleeping Beauties

There is little in life that is as peaceful and serene as a sleeping baby. These are the moments that I actually have a second to breathe and appreciate just how wonderful these precious two are. And more importantly, just how blessed I am to be there their Mommy.
