Vacation in Paw Paw, MI

It feels like I have not added a post in so long! Ahh, VACATION...how I have missed you so and I already am looking forward to seeing you again! I promised myself that I simply was not going to spend my vacation on the computer...and I am proud to say I steered clear of working/facebooking/blogging/etc./etc. for an entire week....for the most part anyway:)

Last week our family spent the week at an adorable and quaint lakehouse on Little Paw Paw lake in MI. We were joined by Aunts Julie and Katie, Uncle Ben, Billy and my parents...what a great crew! It was so nice to get away and spend time doing the things that matter most in life....most specifically, spending time time with family. We had so much fun together. I forgot how absolutely wonderful it is to enjoy life's simplest pleasures such as eating ice cream, picking the freshest fruit from dozens of farmstands, going on a pony rides, playing in the sand, roasting marshmallows, sliding down a slide, going to the city of Coloma's annual peach festival, and my personal favorite....going to the beach. Ahh, the joys of summer!

I have some many pictures from our vacation, but here is just a snapshot. I know I say this all of the time, but I sincerely cherish every moment with my Little Man and my family too. I simply cannot thank my family enough for all that they do for us and how much they help Jay and I take care of Jack....especially on vacation when it required much help getting sand out of virtually every crevis of the Little Man's body! HA!

I was so proud of Jack because he was so comfortable in the water....not scared a bit. I guess his summer Splish Splash classes with Daddy are really paying off!
