Jack's 1st Birthday Party!!!!

It is with very much anticipation that we had the Little Man's 1st Birthday Party on Sat. Sept. 5th! It was so much fun. My only hope is that the guest of honor had as much as his mom did:)

For his 1st birthday party theme, we went with "Kermit the Frog." It was really cute. I was thinking the entire party that I cannot believe we are celebrating an entire year with Jack in our lives. Jeez, time really flies! I can say without a doubt in my mind that this past year has singlehandedly been the best year of my life. It is truly wonderful watching Jack grow....and I am truly blessed to be his mom. He went from a precious sweet baby boy to sweet fun-loving little character...and all of this happened in only 365 days. I can't wait to see what the future holds!

We were very lucky to be joined by so many friends and family for the party. Everyon'e presence meant the world to us. It was especially wonderful to see Grandma and Grandpa Heidemann who traveled the furthest just to celebrate Jack's special day. We really appreciate everyone's presence at the party as well as all of the wonderful birthday presents! Jack especially LOVES all of his trucks...he can't get enough of them. He also loves his clothes, shoes, puzzles, baby sports center, picnic table with umbrella, monetary gifts, and even his new fish that already arrived named Kermit and Miss Piggy by his aunts Julie and Katie . Although Miss Piggy passed away 24 after she joined our family, he seems to be be taking the loss well:)

In Jack's birthday card from my grandparents, it read "You are blessed to have so many people in your life who love you so much." I thought to myself that Jack really is blessed because he does have so many people that do love him. Jay and I thankful for that fact everyday, but especially today as we celebrate the first year of Jack in our lives!
