When The Cat's Away, The Mice Play

This past weekend, I left my boys and went to Put-In-Bay, OH for a day and a half for Colleen Kelly's bachlorette party. Although it was hard to be away because I missed my boys to pieces, it was also nice to spend time with friends that I do not see very often. We had a great time celebrating the bride-to-be during her last "fling before the ring." Put-In-Bay was having its annual wine festival...so we participated in that as well as attending many local bars before and after the festival.

So as the saying goes...."when the cat's away, the mice play." I was informed by husband that they had a fun boys weekend drinking beer and eating chicken wings. Well, this was a joke, however Jay did take Jack to McDonald's Playland and afterwards, the Little Man enjoyed his very first cheeseburger and fries!!! I am usually pretty picky about what Jack eats so this was such a treat for him! Best of all, he got to spend some quality time with his daddy! While I was away, I told many of my friends that I am married to the most wonderful husband on the face of this earth. Best of all, I truly meant it!
