Easter in "The Lou"

This year, we spent Easter in St. Louis with the Heidemann's. As always, it was so nice to see Jay's family. We really miss them since we don't have the opportunity to see them that often. It is so nice to get all of the kids together. They played so nicely! Thank you very much to Grandma and Grandpa Heidemann for all of your hospitality. We know how hard it is to have so many people at your house and we really appreciate all of your efforts to make our visit so pleasurable! Jack also wanted to say thank you very much for his wheel barrel and garden toys! He will be such a help in a few weeks when we put our garden in. I can't wait!!!

I said a very special prayer of thanksgiving at Easter mass this morning. We are just so fortunate to have such wonderful people in our lives. Our family is very blessed....not only this Easter, but everyday.

After church, Jay's Aunt Brenda and Uncle George had the whole family over for Easter dinner. After dinner, we celebrated the 90th birthday of a truly remarkable woman, Great Grandma Wuebbels! What a wonderful milestone and we are so happy that we were there to celebrate her special day!!

Jack also wanted to say a big "thank you" to some other people that made this Easter so nice. Thanks to Granny and Papa Harris for the bubble lawnmower and all of the summer clothes. Thanks to Aunt Julie, Uncle Ben, and Adeline for the super cute aqua green Polo shirt. He will certainly look very studly this spring sporting his very preppy Polo! Thank you to Great Aunt Mary for the books, and to Great Uncle Chris, Great Aunt Laurie, and Abbie for the Polo shirt, bubbles, and Easter chickie stuffed animal. Everyone was so generous and my Little man is very appreciative for all of his wonderful Easter gifts!

Happy Easter to all!
