For so long now, I have been very anxious to get a swing set up in our backyard ok, well maybe a little crazy about it:) After all, shouldn't every little boy have a fun backyard where he likes to play....and play....and play some more! Well after this past weekend, I am thrilled to announce that my Little Man has a swing set of his very own as well as many other toys that are beginning to make our back yard a haven for very active toddler boys!!!!
This swing set would not have been a reality if it were not for some people that I need to thank. First off, thank you to all of my photography customers that have supported me since I started my business about 6 months ago. It is because of you that we were able to save up for this. Secondly, thank you to Grandpa Harris for making endless phone calls to trips to visit his "friends" in the building materials industry to make sure we got a good price and deal. And last, but certainly NOT least, thank you to Jay and Grandpa Heidemann for spending almost 12 hours assembling the swing set. You did a great job and we are SO VERY APPRECIATIVE!!!!
We had a great time visiting with Grandma and Grandpa Heidemann this weekend. In addition to his swing set, Jack really appreciated the time spent with them. He learned a new game with Grandma Heidemann called "Follow The Leader." Basically, Grandma would just follow him around the yard allowing Jack to be the leader....and because he is such a ham, he loved this game! He kept looking over his should every now and then to make sure Grandma was still following him and once he was assured she was, he kept going and going....and going:) Anyhow, thank you for all of your help. I know I always say this, but the next time you visit, we won't put you to work!!!!
Here are some pictures from the "labor intensive" day of the long awaited swing set assembly. The little laughs from Jack on the swing for the very first at 10:00PM when it was finally finished made it all worthwhile! Lots of pics of Jack playing on the swingset in future posts!!!
Here are also some pics from our our lunch at Snackville Junction with Grandma Heidemann! My Little Man just can't get enough of the choo choo's!!!!!
