Wow, what a week of birthday celebrations! First mine...and 3 days later, it is Jay's birthday! Note that Jay is almost a FULL YEAR OLDER than I am though--HA, I had to mention that that!! Jay has been reminding me all week that I am getting "old" so whenever he does this, I am quick to remind him that while I may be getting "old," he is getting "older!!!" HA!
Like me, Jay had a wonderful birthday celebration. He spent the day with Billy and Ben at BW3's eating lots of wings, drinking lots of beer, and watching the Kentucky Derby on a large flat screen TV at the bar! He advised me several weeks ago that this is how he wanted to spend his big day and I am glad he was able to do so. Of course, all the boys (including the Birthday Boy!!) drank a little more than I had thought throughout the day. This caused him to drop Jack on the table while were singing to him (almost into his carrot cake that I made for him!)!!!! However, the day's alcohol consumption of Ben, Billy, AND Jay is completely another story and I won't get into too many details because you really had to be there--HA:)
Anyhow, Jack was absolutely enamored by the birthday candles on Daddy's birthday cake and loved helping his Daddy blow out his candles!!! This little boy surely LOVES his Dada (even when he dropped him on his head, inches away from the center of a big cake!!!) HA!
