WooHoo!!! Look Who's Two!!!!

Well, it official! After all of these 2nd birthday celebrations, today is THE DAY. Jay, Jack, and I had a wonderful celebration with just the 3 of us. It was really nice to spend some quality family time and I think Jack had a good time....which is truly all that matters. We took him out to dinner at Stonefire Pizza in WI. Not only did he have the chance to eat one of his very favorite foods, he also played on the rides, the indoor playland, the water table, and the big choo choo table. What more can a 2 year old ask for, really?!?!

Am I really the mother of a 2 year old?!?! Wow, I guess time is going to keep chugging along....like it or not.

Here are some shots of my 2 year old baby (I know he is not a baby, but he'll ALWAYS be MY baby!) boy during his birthday dinner! We love you, Jack Brennan!

Happy, HAPPY 2nd Birthday to my Sweet Boy Jack!!!

Two years gone by,
How time has flown,
We can't believe
how much Jack has grown!
He's such a joy
and much fun too,
Oh my! My Sweet Baby Boy Has Just Turned Two!

Two years ago today, Jay and I became the parents to the sweetest and most adorable baby boy that has ever been born. And he has been nothing but fun since. We love you so much, Jack. You are the best thing that has ever happened to us. Happy 2nd Birthday, Little Man!

Yet Another 2nd Birthday Celebration!

This morning at school, Jack had yet another birthday celebration!!! I was fortunate enough to be invited to this very special 2nd Birthday party at school! All of his classmates sang "Happy Birthday" to him, then we had a special treat that Mommy brought, and then Jack got to play Birthday bozo buckets! Thank to wonderful teachers and students at Sandbox Preschool for celebrating his special day! Jack had a great time!

Here are some photos from his special birthday party at school!

Jack's Second Birthday Party!

This evening we celebrated the 2nd birthday of my very sweet little man! I know I always call him my "sweet little man," but if you know him well enough, you would know that a "sweet little man" is exactly what he is.....there are truly no better words to describe my little guy....

I think Jack had a lot of fun at his birthday party. By his numerous happy expressions clearly evident in the photos below, I think that is a fair assumption. I know I sure did. I had fun planning it as well. The theme this year was "planes, trains, and automobiles" since those seem to be the 3 things that Jack is most in love with at this given point in time. We could have also had a "moon" themed birthday party, but "planes, trains, and automobiles" was somewhat decided upon before we realized just how much Jack is infatuated with the moon! He tells me every night (and often throughout the days as well!), "I want moon." I guess my biggest goal in life is that I can provide just that for him.....the moon. Oh, and I guess the stars too. If I can just give my little man the moon and stars, then my life will certainly be complete!

We also sang Happy Birthday to Papa for his birthday after we sang to the guest of honor! He was very happy that everyone sang again...and even got to sit on Papa's lap! We also celebrated with a special treat for Papa that Jack "helped" Mommy to make...caramel apple cookies! Yum!!!

Thank you so much for our wonderful family members that attended Jack's 2nd birthday party! You certainly made the day special for him....and for that fact alone, I am grateful to you. We are also grateful for the wonderful and very generous presents. Our thank you cards have already been sent, but thanks again to Granny and Papa Harris for the basketball hoop and season pass to any Children's Museum in the country. We will certainly take advantage of that! Thanks to Aunt Julie, Uncle Ben, and Baby Adeline for the monetary gift, vintage photo frame for Jack's new big boy room, and "I'm Going to Be a Big Brother" book. Thanks to Aunt Katie and Uncle "Bibby" for the basketball set and first annual birthday sleepover! Jack had a blast with you! Thanks to Great Grandma and Grandpa Harris for the monetary gift as well as the airplane/car set. Thanks to the Randolph family for the monetary gift. Even though Great Grandma Wuebbels and Grandma and Papa Heidemann could not join us for Jack's party, we are very grateful for the monetary gift from Great Grandma Wuebbels and the 4 wheeler from Grandma and Grandpa Heidemann. For those of you that gave Jack a monetary gift, please know that we are either saving it for college (it is never too early to start, right!?!?!) OR for a special surprise for him. I am not going to give it away, but let's just say, it may involve Mickey ears! We really would like to get there in the next few years.....so thank you for helping us save!

Here are some photos from Jack's 2nd Birthday Party! I still can't believe he is 2!!! This has definitely been the best 2 years of our lives......we enjoy every moment with him. He is such a blessing! Happy Birthday, Jack Brennan! We are still working on getting the moon for you, but we will never give up trying.....

And Here We Go Again.....Another Zoo!

Seeing that I am a mom to a little boy, it is not surprising that I think that there is absolutely nothing more fun or adorable on the entire planet as little boys!!!! Today, I was reminded of what a fun loving, sweet, and simply adorable little guy I have on my hands. Jack and I went to visit Daddy in Milwaukee and during the day, we had a playdate with Becky and Noah Tumpane at the Milwaukee County Zoo. First off, I cannot believe that I took Jack to yet another zoo this summer....this makes 3! First Brookfield, then Lincoln Park, and now Milwaukee County! We certainly do love animals! Also shall we say that a certain little someone is a little spoiled!?!? I think Jack can get used to Mommy being at home sometimes!

We had a wonderful time with our "Milwaukee friends," Becky and Noah! Noah and Jack are surely like 2 peas in a pod. And one thing is for sure, they spend a lot of time cracking each other up! They are only 2 weeks apart and just love each other's company. I love watching Jack make new friends, but most of all just watching him be so happy! There is nothing better in this world. I have already had to answer to "I want Noah" about 50 times since we left them. Thank God we already scheduled another playdate for next week so we can get the boys together again!

Here are some pics of these 2 little guys having a blast at the zoo!
