Happy Halloween from the most SUPER Man!

Happy Halloween! As you can see from the photos, Jack was Superman this year! And quite frankly, what a little SUPER man he is......so, the costume was quite fitting! Thank you to his SUPER Dada for deciding his costume this year. I am truly one lucky girl to have such SUPER DUPER men in my lives......not only on Halloween, but 365 days of the year! We had a great time celebrating Halloween this year. Jack now knows all about CANDY, pumpkins, bats, falling leaves, etc. And how cute is it that when he went to all of the doors, you heard "Trick-en-in" and then "tank you".......followed by a big smile after taking as many pieces of candy that would fit in his little hand:)

This weekend was also very special because Grandma (Cappa) and Grandpa (Papa) Heidemann were in Chicago for a visit. Words cannot explain just how grateful we are for all of their help. The garage is actually is organized again....and it is simply REFRESHING to not have it be a mess for the first time all summer! Ugh, too many toys....it is time for a shed!!! And a special thanks to my special mother-in-law who I continually promise will have to come to Chicago for once and just do nothing but visit. That said, it is SO NICE to actually look out CLEAN windows and blinds that no longer have about an inch of dust on them! Thanks a million, Rich and Jan! We can't wait to see you again in a few weeks for the arrival of your sixth grandchild!

Happy Halloween to all!

Our Fun Fall Day at "The Center" Pumpkin Patch

Today, Jay, Jack, Uncle Ben, Aunt Julie, Adeline, "Uncle Bibby," "Aunt Kick Kick," and I went to the pumpkin patch. This year, we decided to go to The Center in Palos. We could not have had a nicer day! The weather was simply gorgeous!!! I think Mother Nature FINALLY realized that it is the fall and not the summer anymore!

Anyhow, Jack had a blast with family. He loved the leaves, the hayride, petting the cow, goats, and ducks, riding all of the tractors, and most of all......the 2 really BIG pumpkins that he picked out! He has been learning all about pumpkins at school and we have been looking at them all over the neighborhood for the past couple of weeks. So needless to say, he has very anxiously been waiting to get some more pumpkins of his own (Papa bought him a few already!) We have not carved the pumpkins yet.....we are waiting until next week to do so. But today, we had a perfect outdoor fun fall day. Mommy especially loves the fall and I realized today that my days are numbered before I have to divide my time by 2. I am so very much looking forward to the new baby being born, but today I just enjoyed my 2 boys and our family as it stands today.

Here are some photos of our very fun day at the pumpkin patch!
