37 Weeks.....and counting!!!!

First off, let me say that I simply cannot believe that I actually took the infamous "maternity belly shots," and furthermore, am posting them! I never thought I was the kind of girl to take actually take belly shots. Not that anything is wrong with it, but typically I am more self conscious so I was not sure I could actually do it. Then, I saw some photos of a friend of mine with her son who is about the same age as Jack with the CUTEST photos of him touching and kissing her belly and even using finger paint to draw a heart on it. I thought the photos were simply darling! So, I changed my mind and decided that I would like some photos of my little man doing the same thing. After all, this is such a SPECIAL time in our lives that we will never get back....and me being my typical self, I like to capture as many moments as I possibly can:)

So, here we are......37 weeks.......and counting. I can't believe how this pregnancy has just flown by! With Jack, I only made it to 38 weeks. So, I feel like I am getting very close to be ing a mother of two! I can't wait!

Here are some shots that my friend Kelly took of Jack and I yesterday. Unfortunately, Jack was not in the picture taking mood. He kisses "his baby" in my belly all of the time, but would not do it in front of the camera. Go figure. He also was not interested in the finger paint that I bought for him to draw on my belly. He was interested, however, in playing tug of war with the ribbon and taking his bat tapping my belly. I hope this is not a foreshadow of what he is going to do to the baby once he or she is born! Sometimes photo sessions take different turns....you just need to go with what you get. So, that is exactly what we did!

I hope you enjoy the photos....and my precious memories. Oh, and please ignore the cookies in his hands...that was the only way he would even stand near me instead of wanting to play with his cars during the entire shoot. Gotta love 2 years old!!!!!
