This year, we spent the 4th of July in STL visiting Grandma and Grandpa Heidemann. As always, we had a wonderful time seeing them. This visit was extra special because we finally got to go to Grant's Farm. It was a SCORCHER, but we did not let that stop us!!! We plunged through the extreme heat and had a great time! Jack especially love the turtle wearing the the 4th of July hat, the carousel ride with Grandma, and the horses. He did NOT, however, want to see the "horses booty butts." He "can't like horses booty butts." HA! Oh, this kid!!
Michael also enjoyed Grants Farm because he enjoyed his very first snow cone! I think he was the only 7 month old with a complete red mouth and lips. It was so cute b/c his gums were all red since he does not have teeth yet.....people must have thought we were crazy giving out 7 month a snow cone! He really seemed to enjoy it and I think it helped to cool him off a bit too!
Here are some of the highlights from our 4th of July weekend!
