My Pool Lovin' Babes at Lawn Aqua Family Night!!!

Family Night at Lawn Aqua is a summer time tradition that we have all come to look forward to!!  What is better than a great pool, and AWESOME family, and southside Chicago pizza?  You got it...pretty much NOTHING.

Happy Birthday, America!!!!

Following Christmas, the 4th of July is HANDS DOWN my second favorite holiday!!!  After all, who does not like the summer, lemonade, hot dogs, watermelon, ice cream, potato salad, about 15 other delicious food items (curiosity of Granny of course!) , and good old COLD beers (I unfortunately missed out on this this year, but I certainly made up for up and ate EXTRA dessert- HA!) 

This was the very first time we were in Chicago for the 4th of July since Jack was born so it was nice to be home and just enjoy some family time for a nice, long weekend:)  Who would have thought that this would be the HOTTEST 4th of July in Chicago in over a century?!?!?  Seriously, we cannot catch a break lately with this weather.  104 degrees today, NOT even including the humidity.  GROSS in the only word to describe the weather these past 2 weeks.  But, we survived and just stayed hydrated. 

Fireworks, awesome food, and an amazing family.  What a PERFECT 4th of July!!!  Happy Birthday, America!!
