Little Man Cruisin in his Car

Jack is extremely lucky to have 2 of his aunts 1) be obsessed with shopping and 2) be obsessed with HIM! One of Jack's MANY Christmas presents from Aunts Julie and Katie was a Step Two Whisper Ride Buggy. Basically, this buggy is nothing more than an adorable little plastic car that Jack uses to cruise the neighborhood. When he was first given this gift, my initial reaction was "oh great, another thing to have to store in the garage!" However, the first time Jack and I took a stroll in his hot new ride, I changed my mind. He just loves his car and he is so stinkin cute in it! He honks at EVERYONE when we are walking to the park. He also has this permanent look on his face as if he is thinking "Yeah, check out my ride....it is pretty cool, don't you think!??!"

This is Jack's new puckered face that he started about a week ago....he now loves to pucker for the camera! We have been working on giving kisses a lot lately....I guess he is starting to learn....HA!!!

Lawn Aqua Family Night

Every Saturday night, our pool Lawn Aqua, has what they call "family night." Basically this means you can bring an entire family as guests to the pool for a reduced rate. Also, Lawn Aqua has a HUGE grill that they light and everyone brings a bunch of food, swims, and plays basketball. It is a great way to enjoy the summer! This Saturday night, Jay and I brought my parents, Julie and Ben, and Katie and Billy as our guests to the pool for family night. Although we had to leave abruptly due to some rain, we still had several hours beforehand to take a dip....as well as eat several dips...oh, and a pizza too! Our weekend would certainly not be complete without a pizza!

Some 9 month Pics

I have tried to stay on top of getting some professional pics of Jack every 3 months since he was born. He changes SO much and grows up quickly so I try and capture as many memories I can...without be becoming too obsessed or going into bankruptcy while doing so...HA!

Anyhow, here are some of Jack's 9 month pictures. I am note sure what happened to my brown hair/ dark eyed baby?!?! I now have a blondie and hazel eyed little boy instead! Regardless of the color of his eyes or hair, he is still the same little sweetheart! As I said, they change so much. We are just trying to enjoy each and every day.....

Brookfield Zoo with the Stars!

Today Jack and I went to Brookfield Zoo with Julie and Maddie Star. I have been meaning to take Jack to the zoo for a couple of weeks now...and today we finally made it! He was in awe of lots of the animals (the ones that were close enough for him to see anyway!) Jack and Maddie were especially fond of the goats in the Children's Petting Zoo and the pig with all of her piglets!

We had a beautiful day and so much fun with our friends!

10 Months Old Today!!!

Every month on Jack's birthday, I post some updated pictures of him from the past month. And every month as I do that, I think to myself, "Of my gosh, I just cannot believe that he is another month older and just how quickly time is flying by!" I also think to myself all of the new milestones he has hit each month and all of the "firsts" I have the opportunity to experience with him. This month was no different than any other--he got his first haircut, his first teeth on the top of his mouth breaking through, his first taste of so many new foods (zucchini, pastina, mashed potatoes, baked beans, etc.), and even officially crawled for the first time!

I know I have said this before, but I truly feel SO BLESSED to have him on my life. These past 10 months have been amazing. I love spending every moment with him...experiencing his life milestones, his happiness, and his oh so many heart melting baby smiles! I know these days won't last forever, so I try to enjoy each and every moment of happiness Jack brings to me.
