Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Heidemann

This past weekend, Jack had the opportunity to spend some time with his Grandma and Grandpa Heidemann since they came to our house for a nice and relaxing summertime visit. It was so nice to see them and we really enjoyed it. Jack did lots of fun things like going to the park with his Grandma...and she even took him down the slide on her lap! He also played a lot with his new bat and ball. It is a lot better than his other bat since this one is soft and he will not injure himself like he almost did with the metal one that we have that he likes to play with so much!

Like always, the weekend would not be complete without attending Splish Splash class with Daddy and going to the pool with Mommy. Fortunately, the weather was great for Splish Splash class on Saturday morning. Also, Jack and Mommy squeezed some time in on Sunday afternoon for a little sunshine poolside!

Jay and Rich also went to the Cubs vs. Cardinals game on Sunday. Although the Cards were defeated, they still had a nice time. Maybe the next time they go to a game together all 3 generations of Heidemann men can go! Jack can't wait!
