Zoo Lights at the Lincoln Park Zoo

This was the very first year that we went to "Zoo Lights"at the Lincoln Park Zoo.  It was awesome...so many really cool lights and just great family Christmastime fun.  It also helped that it was like 45 degrees...seriously, you would not even know it was December in Chicago this year.  Where is all of the snow?  I love snow, but on a day like today, I was glad that it has not arrived just yet because we were able to enjoy this great light display almost not even needing gloves on....almost anyway.  Hopefully, we get some snow on Christmas.  Ahh, there is nothing like a white Christmas...so peaceful.

Thanks Aunt Katie and Uncle Billy for having us over for pizza beforehand at your apartment.  Jack is sorry for spilling the beer on the rug and Adeline is sorry for breaking the ornament!!!  I know you don't understand now, but you will one day when you have kids of your own!!!

I am SO, SO in the Christmas spirit!!!  I love this stuff!!!  And I have THE BEST family to make memories with!!!!  Shall we say, the Zoo Lights is new Christmastime tradition??!!?!  I am thinking definitely so!!!
