Boys Being Boys........and "BaQueen"

Boys will be boys...that's what they say, right?!?!?  Today we went to visit one of Jack's very best friends, Noah.  As always, these little guys  had a great time with each other!  Throwing/racing cars, eating lots of lots of Mac and cheese, and playing basketball and with TONS of trains.  What a PERFECT afternoon in the eyes of a three year old!!!

Here are some of my favorite photos I took of Jack and Noah this afternoon.  When Jack was younger and still learning to talk, he referred to the infamous Lightning McQueen as "BaQueen."  Although he can now pronounce it correctly, Jay and I still refer to McQueen as "BaQueen" because we think it is cute.  I am sure it is only a matter of time before our little man will begin correcting us.

Happy 85th Birthday, Grandma!!!

Tonight we celebrated Grandma's 85th birthday at Uncle Dan's house.  It was a nice simple party with great food and a great family. 

The boys are just so lucky to have not only great grandparents, but also great great grandparents in their lives.  Wow, lots of "greats" in that sentence....HA!   Anyhow, we are beyond blessed in so many ways and today we are especially thankful for Grandma Harris.  She just loves our little guys to pieces and we are happy to be here with her today.

Man, Do We LOVE This Place!!!!

It seems like every Tuesday has turned into a field trip day for my two little men.  Our destination of choice is often the Oak Lawn Children's Museum.  Why, you may ask?!?!  Simply stated, these two little guys simply LOVE this place.  And how can they not really....it is just darling with so many adorable little play areas and learning opportunities around every corner.  Best of all for this momma is that it is so close to home AND Jack has a free yearly pass as one of his birthday presents from Granny and Papa. 

So thank you Oak Lawn Children's Museum for bringing us endless entertainment!  We simply LOVE coming here....especially to break up our week when it is too cold in January to play outside.
