Tonight we had a very small and simple 60th Birthday celebration for Granny. It was so small and simple because she probably would have killed us if we attempted anything on a larger scale! Needless to say, Granny does not like being in the spotlight...nor does she like her birthday. So, we kind of forced this little birthday and cake party at the Schultz's house. Even though Granny might not be doing cart wheels over this milestone birthday, the kiddos sure had fun!! After all, there is not much better than cake, blowing out candles, and singing when you are three years old. My little 3 year old sure had a great time assisting Granny in blowing out her candles tonight. JB tends to think that everyone's birthday is his own!
Thank you also to Papa for taking us out for a delicious steak dinner and drinks to celebrate on Friday night. It was seriously so nice to get out with just the adults for once. It was also fun to hang out with the Bunkettes at Louie's after such a fantastic dinner. Chick is sure lucky to have such great friends!!
Happy, Happy 60th Birthday to the single BEST GRANNY ever!!!! We sure do love you!!!
