Good News/Bad News for our Ralphie

Well, its the classic case of the good news/bad news type of a situation. Let's start with the GOOD news.....Ralphie's tumor came back from the pathology lab and it is NOT cancer!!!!! The bad news is that his incision site is badly infected. It is irritating him so much in fact that we had to go back the vet this morning and she put him on 2 different antibiotics and decided that he needs to wear this "comfort cone" so he does not rip his sutures open. Ralphie thinks that this comfort cone is anything BUT comfortable. Poor Ralphie. The kids, however, are getting a kick out of Ralphie's new "silly hat." Just like everyone else in this house this month, we hope Ralphie gets better very soon!
