Jack Is Back!!!!!!

JACK IS BACK!!!  That is our glorious saying since we were finally released from Hope Children's Hospital late Friday night.  In fact, this little saying was so catchy that Granny ever made a new shirt for him to proclaim his new status!!!  The 4 days/nights we spent in the hospital felt like 2 weeks. I am happy to report that my sweet boy has turned the corner and seems to be on the mend. The final diagnosis from the Infectious Disease Dr. at Hope Children's Hospital was a horrible adenovirus AND bacterial infection that hit his little body simultaneously. This caused 104.9+ constant fevers and a scary white blood cell count. Both of these symptoms caused Jack to be in "lockdown" at the hospital until they could rule out bacterial meningitis and/or pneumonia...which they were able to rule out late Friday night. Net/net= it has been a HELL of a week and we will be laying low for a while, BUT we consider our self beyond blessed in so many ways. Thanks for your prayers for our little soldier. Predictably, they worked!!!!
