Today our Little Man turned 15 months old! What a big boy we now have on our hands! Jack is at an age where he is definitely a handful, but we are really loving each and every moment! What a personality this little guy has....the pics and videos I upload to this blog just do not do his darling personality justice.
Let's see.....some new things to report that made their debut this past month.
1) Pointing at things and trying to talk about them....still mostly calling everything "a-du." We have no idea what Jack's infamous word "a-du" means yet, but to him, it certainly has a profound meaning.
2) Picking up the phone (or baby monitor, remote control, etc) and putting it to his ear and saying "hello."
3) Associating certain words with items.. For example, when you say, "Give Mommy your paci please," he hands me his paci. Or, "Give Daddy the remote control please," he'll give Jay the remote control. Grandpa Harris also gets a kick out of Jack because he now know what "Please help Grandpa stack the blocks" means. Jack also knows where his ears, feet, nose, hair (sometimes), and tongue are located on his little body! What a smart little cookie!
4) WALKING! I have waited a few weeks this time before I officially announce this very important milestone to assure that his new mobility will stick this time around. He began to take steps and start walking just before Halloween, then he decided to take a hiatus from walking from Halloween up until Thanksgiving. Then immediately after Thanksgiving, he picked it up again. I think it will stick this time around because we sure have a little walking machine on our hands!
Every day it is something new! However, one thing always remains the same.....we adore our Little Man. He is such a blessing in our lives...and we are so grateful for him.
