How Quickly You Forget.....

Last night, Jack and I went to Aunt Julie and Uncle Ben's condo to visit baby Adlee. We wanted to give them a hand by babysitting for a few hours, bringing them dinner, and helping give the little lady her very first bath. It was so nice to her her again....I love my sweet niece!

Many of you read my posts and probably get annoyed because I am always talking about family and just how much I appreciate the amazing family I am blessed to have. Well, tonight I was again reminded just how fortunate I am. I feel so very blessed to be so close to my sister, especially during this very special time of her life. I have known Julie her entire life, but not yet as a mother. And I am very proud of her for doing such a great job!

It is amazing how quickly you forget the little, amazing things about a newborn.....looking into their curious eyes, their very strong little grasp, their adorable startle reflex, their little bird legs....well, everything really. Babies are such a blessing!
